WMD HDX Walker Reader

The HDX Walker Reader is specifically designed to work with our Walker Wands (model 136/40). They are manufactured in integrated weather resistant enclosures for immediate deployment. The reader can be configured to either High or Eco/battery saver power (dependent upon whether tag read range or extended battery life [such as in remote areas] is most desired). Complete with data logging and removable storage medium, the Walker reader is capable of significant data storage with ease of access via removable USB. The reader is a feature rich, ISO11784/85 compatible unit. When coupled with the on-board information unit this provides on-screen information built on the operator boom for visual detection /confirmation at time of tagging. The information module has a variety of functions: supply voltage, current draw, tag ID, time elapsed since last tag detection, current tag detection and tag code, number of detection’s per tag etc. Our field units also feature a visual tag detection LED as well as an RF exciter LED. Effective maximum horizontal read range when deployed in conjunction with the Walker Wand 136/40:  > 1500-1700mm, vertical 810-930mm.
