The WMD high performance Marine Hoop Antenna System is capable of reading tags >1400mm, making them some of the highest read range systems available.
The Marine Hoop system can be used to monitor animal or fish movements over a high reading distance or river depth. Typical uses are in flatbed (horizontal, swim-over) orientation on the sea bed (sea bream nests) or on slower flowing rivers and streams. Can also be used in mid-water as a neutral buoyancy system which permits detection’s both underside and topside. Marine Hoop antennae are simple to install with a variety of fixing options, eye bolts to float systems and mud weights to buoys, dependent upon sea depth, river and/or usage.   Available in a range of standard diameters (1m – 3m), with fixed pricing across each size range.  No external tuner required.

The WMD high performance Marine Hoop Antenna System is capable of reading tags >1400mm, making them some of the highest read range systems available. The Marine Hoop system is a semi-flexible construct, that once deployed, creates a rigid antenna that can be used to monitor animal or fish movements over a high reading distance or river depth. Typical uses are in flatbed (horizontal, swim-over) orientation on the sea bed (sea bream nests) or slower flowing rivers and streams or used in mid water as a neutral buoyancy system which permits detection’s both underside and topside. Marine Hoop antennae are relatively easy to transport and install with a variety of options regarding fixings, from eye bolts to float systems dependent upon sea depth, river type and/or usage.   Available in a range of standard diameters (1m – 3m), with fixed pricing across each size range.  Small amount of stress struts assembly required.
