We are the sole UK fish identification service providing on site fish tag implantation or kits and training the keen angler, fish farmer, or fisheries owner.

Our service are typically used by those fisheries trying to protect there prized fish from poaching or theft and having the registration held by us insures your ability to prove origin helping with insurance claims and repatriation of fish back to the rightful waters.

We cater to one of fish tagging kits for personal prized fish such as koy to independent fisheries and clubs wishing to protect their stock.

How Does It Work?

you can chose form 3 options
1.on site tagging of your fish fixed fee for up to 20 fish,
2.lab based training with our surgeons where you will learn how to tag cadavers in a hands on setting and take away equipment sufficient to tag 20 fish
3. purchase the tagging kits in singles 20’s or in bulk(fish farmers and trader only)

With you tagged fish you can register them with us and provide as much or a little information as you like
required information includes : fish species, fishery, person or organization it is registered to. the water in which the fish is located , tag number, contact details
(optional) picture of fish, gender, distinct markings, fish welfare check report if have one
If you sell or give a registered fish away the new owner can apply to have the fish transferred ownership, you pay a fixed admin fee and we contact the previous owner to verify the validity of the request, if the request is validated or we receive no information to the contrary after 28 calendar days the fish will have its records updated.

Tracking my fish
We sell affordable hand scanners allowing individual fish to be distinguished by the owners of match fisherman encase of updating local club records. if a fish is stolen or reported missing the fish dealers we work with will be notified of the details and in the case or bring it to court or for loss adjusters the information will be made available to calculate damages and validity of claims. this helps identify and validate the increasing numbers of theft of high value fish
