Open Depth Data

Wyre Micro and Fish Track have one of the largest selections of survey equipment and survey craft, including hydroacoustics, split-beam, and multi-beam sonar, as well as ARIS and DIDSON technologies. As industry leaders, we regularly conduct a variety of assessments, including fish passage efficiency, fish pass counting, total fish biomass and spatial distribution, bathymetric surveys, structural surveys, macrophyte surveys, temperature profiling, sediment mapping, and three-dimensional mapping and profiling of water bodies, along with aquatic habitat mapping.

In a strategic partnership to enhance data accessibility for researchers, Wyre Micro and FishTrack have joined forces to make critical survey data openly accessible to support scientific and environmental research. Through this collaboration, we now offer Google Maps-embedded depth maps of survey sites, readily available for government bodies and the wider community. Additionally, downloadable KMZ files are provided for in-depth offline analysis, furthering our mission to enhance data transparency and empower research and conservation efforts.
