WMD Dynamic Digital Antenna Tuning units
Dynamic digital antenna tuning in a compact weather resistant enclosure, designed to be deployed in field situations. The DDATU provides automatic antenna tuning, which is both fast and accurate. Totally automated, no command lines or pre-configuration necessary, just Plug n Play. The on-board LCD screen provides information on the antenna status, providing essential information to the user that may be used to further adjust the site, shape or location of the antenna for maximum results. All external waterproof connections are complete with dust seal external covers when unit is not in use.
This is the only antenna tuner that also caters for ‘field drift’. Field drift can occur during prolonged deployment of antennae. Small shifts in the antenna, changes to water levels and entrainment all effect antenna tune. The DDATU takes this into account by retuning at regular intervals, always ensuring the antenna is in the optimum state of tune.
