Description
Electrofishing lightweight hand nets are an essential piece of fishing kit. Our WMD lightweight nets come with foldable net hoops which are also removable (screw threads) from the handle for carrying in backpack or very small car when space is limited. The stainless steel hoop is hinged and folds down to compact dimensions. The net handle is non-conductive 22mm OD GRP tubing. This is lightweight and comfortable. Electrofishing hand net handles are available in standard lengths (~120-125 cm) and custom lengths are available upon request. Net heads are either 35 or 40cm diameter and fine nylon mesh is standard.
Option for a rubberised bumper to protect the net edge against stones and scrapes is available from the drop down
Two head shapes are available:
WMDR in either 35cm dia (WMDR35) or 40cm dia (WMDR40). Both have 5mm mesh and are ~26cm deep.
WMDS, a shaped head 40x36cm ID (2mm mesh, ~32cm deep).
Both variations are available with (AB) or without (AO) integrated arm brace
Note: These nets are not suitable for heavy work, digging in amongst rocks and in very high flow situations. We are currently working on a replacement HD net for these applications
