Electrofishing generator + IEF control box

Description

The IEF electrofishing generator system incorporates an integrated, full featured, electrofishing control box all within the suitcase electrofishing generator. It is capable of providing power to an external electrofishing control box such as the Consultant series, as well as being able to be used as a Get You Home electrofishing box. It is available with compatible detachable anode and cathode. The generator features IP68 rated, small form factor connectors, voltage and current output meter, frequency selector, power dial, over current circuit breakers, and emergency stop button as well as a external power cable port for connecting to the external control box.  The IEF system, when deployed on it’s own, provides sufficient power for a single anode fishing operation and is useful for small rivers, shorter surveys and permits completion of contracted surveys if there is ever an issue with the main external EF control box, whilst still being able to power large, external electrofishing control boxes. The IEF also provides the option for surveying with just the IEF generator system plus anode and cathode. Simple!

Powered by the Honda suitcase EU22i generator, successor to the EU20i but with more power and updated features such as Eco-Throttle technology, matching the power demand, saving fuel, extending engine life and quieter. The engine also features Oil-Alert technology, automatically switching off the ignition at low oil level and also “Fuel Valve Shutoff Position” for storage and transportation (allowing burning off the remaining fuel in the carburetor  for longer term storage).

Ideal for most electrofishing work, this is our main generator for such work. Light enough for carrying to site, powerful enough for 2 anode fishing all day. We also provide a WMD EFP cable (certain models) to enable coupling 2 generators in parallel, increasing power (>3KW) for those larger, deeper rivers. A 2 generator set up provides back-up for most electrofishing situations with the added benefit of extra power via our WMD EFP system when you really need it.

NOTE: this option is ONLY available at time of purchase of a full digital electrofishing control box from the Consultant or Ti range. This IEF system requires the “get you home” accessory kit which includes get you home cathode and 15m anode. These are sold separately and denoted by the blue anode furniture and cabling.
