Description
WMD Micro Reader. A small form factor USB PIT tag reader. This Micro reader is capable of reading WMD CLPEM tags, FDX and EMID and is normally deployed as a tag verifier such as when entering tag into database prior to tagging or as a mobile reader for citizen scientists to record and report tagged animals. The reader is self powered through the USB port and using an HID input mimics a USB keyboard, inputting the scanned tag/transponder code wherever the cursor is on the computer screen. This means it can be used on custom Access databases, Excel, Notepad, Word or any other software available on a PC, tablet, or android smart phone. Ideal for database creation prior to tagging events or for verifying tag codes etc.
