Description
WMD CLF Flag tags are a self locking cable tag with flag termination for easy identification and readability of tag code. The huge advantage of Flag tags are that codes can be hexadecimal with QR codes for links to website reporting or project information. This makes reporting and engagement much much better than conventional public engagement. Flag tags have all the benefits of external identification, making them a highly affordable tag for mark capture and habitat preference studies. The advantages of CLF Flag tags are a very low entry point for mark recapture and reporting projects. CLF Flag tags support the running of wider public engagement and reporting using the identification on the exterior flag. No degradation of the tags external code will occur through UV or chemical action due to the process of code marking methods we employ. Available in a variety of cable lengths and with customization options for the external tag markings. CLF Flag tags are typically used on lobsters and crabs. Different cable colours are also available upon request and generally used to differentiate tagged sub-samples from discrete areas
Note:
-Tags readable visual ID – Easy to read and accessible to all. Very suitable for wider public engagement projects
-QR codes available – Links direct to your reporting webpage ie openmonitoring.co.uk making reporting seamless and reliable. If desired the QR can link to wider project website information
–More funding options – Increases funding bid options through wider citizen science and public engagement which is more restricted with conventional tagging products
