Intelligent cathodes that monitor water temperature and immersion events, keeping electrofishing operators safer and providing essential data information. ~1.5m of UltraFlex cathode cable, non-conductive, lock ring connectors for safer handling and secure connection, integrated immersion sensors, integrated temperature sensors. Wide, highly conductive, plated copper braid, ~1m. The iCathode is a step above all other cathodes. Quick detachable cathode braid connectors. The ability to attach/detach cathode tails enables quick replacement of worn out cathode tails allowing for affordable repairs and planned maintenance. Further, the cathode system enables selection of your choice of custom length cathode tails. Longer tails tend to produce the best voltage gradient for fish welfare. Cathode tails can be daisy chained together to get the best length for your application, and they can even be used across streams as an electrified survey ‘end stop‘ with an appropriate nets person present.
