WMD Torch antenna. A small form factor antenna suitable for connecting to many WMD readers. Comes with cable strain relief, 3m cable, ergonomic rubber handle, IP69 rated. Features long read range which reduces hunting for where the animal is tagged. Predominately used in tagging operations, especially useful in the marine environment too, allowing surgical assistants to scan the animal or tag as it’s being inserted without getting in the way of the operation.
Compatible with WMD HDX and Marlin readers. Torch Antennae are pre-tuned so no antenna tuning unit required saving you over £400!
Typical read ranges: WMD Deep Sea shellfish D-tags up to 400mm, WMD 23mm tags up to 340mm, WMD 12mm tags up to 160mm.
