Description

The IEF Wanderer kit weighs approximately 14kg, is light and highly portable. It can be carried virtually anywhere and provides more power and longer run times than any backpack system. The Wanderer kit comprises converted generator, with fully integrated internal electrofishing control box (IEF) incorporated within the generator itself, ergonomic lightweight anodes and Wanderer detachable, sensing iCathode system. This is a full kit of all the equipment needed to carry out electrofishing work.

The Wanderer integrated electrofishing control box system is capable of powering 1 (Wanderer Solo) or 2 (Wanderer Duo) lightweight anodes, which come complete with ergonomic trigger handles and arm braces. Wanderer anodes feature our Low CSA Stainless Steel Swing Ring system for ease of use and transportation, less weight, less fatigue and more efficient electrofishing. Anodes all feature our bespoke UltraFlex cable in a choice of lengths which are coupled with IP68 rated, small form factor connectors. The WMD Wanderer iCathode system also included, features intelligent sensing of cathode connection preventing output of the electrofishing control box without such. This provides superior safety control and ensures correct connections of cathodes are undertaken before fishing to detect the items are plugged in before allowing any output giving superior safety in the field. The Wanderer detachable iCathode enables swapping out worn cathode tails without the need to return to the manufacturer for replacement, adding additional tails where conductivity is poor and changing to longer or shorter tails as required depending upon the work being carried out. The iCathode system comes as standard with a single cathode tail, spare cathode connect bolts, spanners as well as spare O rings for anode and cathode connectors, cable tidy’s, cable clip attachments and carabiner.
