The IEF Wanderer electrofishing kit weighs approximately 14kg, is light and highly portable. It can be carried virtually anywhere.
The Wanderer kit comprises of a converted suitcase generator, with fully integrated internal electrofishing control box (IEF) incorporated within the generator itself, plus ergonomic lightweight anodes and a detachable, sensing iCathode system. This is a full kit of all the equipment needed to carry out electrofishing work.
The Wanderer Solo kit comes complete with:

The Wanderer integrated electrofishing control box system is capable of powering 1 (Wanderer Solo) or 2 (Wanderer Duo) lightweight anodes, which come with ergonomic trigger handles and arm braces.
Our anodes feature the WMD Stainless Steel Swing Ring system (SRS) for ease of use and transportation. This system weighs less and less fatiguing and more efficient electrofishing. All anodes feature our bespoke UltraFlex cable providing a flexible easy to use cable. Cables connect to the system via IP68 rated, small form factor connectors.
The WMD Wanderer iCathode system features intelligent sensing of the cathode connection which prevents electrical output of the electrofishing control box without such, giving superior safety in the field.
The detachable cathode braid enables swapping out worn cathode tails without the need to return to the manufacturer for replacement, adding additional tails where conductivity is poor and changing to longer or shorter tails as required depending upon the work being carried out. The cathode system comes as standard with a single cathode tail, cable tidy’s, cable clip attachments and carabiner.
